4 San Pablo intersections slated for crash-reduction improvements

4 San Pablo intersections could see fewer crashes thanks to grant
Rumrill Blvd and Emeric Avenue has been identified as one of four San Pablo intersections set for grant funding to reduce crashes.

Four San Pablo intersections could soon receive safety enhancements thanks to a Caltrans grant that aims to reduce crashes on city streets, according to the city.

City staff proposed these four intersections to receive safety improvements: Rumrill Boulevard and Emeric Avenue; Rumrill Boulevard and Sanford Avenue; Mission Bell Drive and El Portal Drive; and Church Lane and Willow Road.

At a community meeting set for Feb. 12, city officials plan to introduce proposed safety enhancements with a brief presentation and open house. Open to the public, the community meeting runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Maple Hall, 13831 San Pablo Ave. Residents will be encouraged to ask questions and provide input. Childcare and refreshments will be provided.
