A youth job fair for ages 15 to 24 is being held by the East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) in Richmond on Saturday, Jan. 27, and also in Livermore on Jan. 20.
The 4th annual Youth Job Fairs aim to connect youth to positions with EBRPD the largest employer of youth in East Bay.
“Each year the Park District hires over 400 area youth to work in local parks and visitor centers,” the park district said. “Many positions are for temporary season work as recreation aids, interpretive aids, and lifeguards, among others.”
Positions include Interpretive Student Aid, Public Safety Student Aid, Recreation Leader, Lifeguard, Gate Attendant, Park Services Attendant, Student Laborer, Field Intern, Intern and Volunteer positions.
The Richmond Youth Job Fair runs from 10 a.m. to noon at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium & Convention Center, 403 Civic Center Plaza.
The Livermore Youth Job Fair is Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 from 10 a.m. to noon at Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Avenue. Both events include lunch and a free shuttle to and from BART.
