We were just informed by Rep. Mark DeSaulnier that he had to postpone Monday’s planned town hall meeting in El Cerrito due to a last-minute change in the House voting schedule.
“I will, however, be in DC voting against efforts to pass the #GOPTaxPlan that will raise taxes for more than 5.5M California taxpayers by 2027,” DeSaulnier said.
A future date for the town hall is TBD. We’ll keep you updated here and of course at www.RichmondStandard.com.
At that town hall, DeSaulnier said he provide constituents with a legislative update as well as an opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns.
Since taking office in 2015, the congressman has held 53 town halls and mobile district office hours throughout Contra Costa County, interacting with over 17,500 constituents, according to his office.
