Four people were killed in a collision on westbound Interstate Highway 80 in San Pablo on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Six more were injured in connection with the crash reported at 8:11 p.m. on the highway at the San Pablo Dam Road off-ramp.
Late Saturday, CHP officers announced the arrest of a hit-and-run suspect in connection with the incident.
According to KTVU (Ch. 2): “CHP says a car was traveling eastbound when it collided with another car. The crash caused the second car to lose control and flip over the median to the westbound lanes. When it landed in the westbound lanes, the car hit three other vehicles. All deaths are from the car that flipped over the median.”
