San Pablo police investigating hit-and-run that injured 22-year-old man

San Pablo police are searching for the driver who struck and injured a 22-year-old pedestrian in the 1500 block of Emeric Avenue, about a block from Rumrill Boulevard.

Police responded to the scene just after 7 p.m. and had the male victim transported to John Muir Hospital with severe head and upper torso trauma. He is listed in critical but stable condition, police said Monday.

The suspect vehicle was described as a newer model, dark colored Nissan 4-door, possibly an Altima, with silver door handles.
