Salesian College Preparatory to hold open house Sunday, Oct. 22

Salesian College Preparatory is inviting prospective students and their families onto its campus at 2851 Salesian Ave. in Richmond this Sunday, Oct. 22, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

You’ll meet educators, coaches, parents and students and learn all about the school including its honors and advanced placement courses. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy a club car tour around the scenic 21-acre campus, music and drama performances by students and lunch catered by Berkeley’s famous Top Dog restaurant.

A discounted application rate will be offered to students who submit their application at the open house. No reservations are necessary to attend.

Salesian teaches 430 students from 9th through 12th grades. In last year’s senior class, 98-percent enrolled in college while the other 2-percent joined the military. Of 35 faculty members, 60-percent have advanced degrees. The average class size is 24, with a teacher-student ratio of 18-1.
