FBI offering $20,000 reward for info in several East Bay homicides
The FBI along with the Oakland and Richmond police departments are asking for the public’s help in solving homicides in the West Oakland and Richmond areas dating back to 2005.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to an arrest in the following cold cases:
- Sean McClelland and LaCorey Brooks were shot and killed on June 27, 2005, on Ripley Avenue in Richmond.
- Nguyen Ngo was shot and killed on April 23, 2009, on 45th Street in Oakland.
- Nehemiah Lewis was shot and killed on June 11, 2010, on Athens Avenue in Oakland.
- Andrew Henderson Jr. was shot and killed on April 13, 2011, on E Street in Oakland.
Anyone with information about these cases are asked to contact the Oakland Police Department at (510) 238-7950. Public tips can remain confidential.
According to the East Bay Times, the FBI is getting involved with these cold cases in the search for a possible connection between the incidents.
