A suspect described as a “chronic offender” set a vehicle on fire in the Richmond BART station parking garage early Sunday, police said.
Richmond fire officials called BART police at 3:06 a.m. to report that a silver 2014 Toyota 4Runner was set ablaze in the first floor of the parking garage at 269 16th St.
Video surveillance cameras captured the incident, and the person who started the fire was recognized by authorities as a repeat offender. Further details weren’t immediately available about the incident.
