14th Annual North Richmond Shoreline Fest set for Saturday
The always festive, family-friendly and free North Richmond Shoreline Festival is set to take place Saturday, Oct. 7, at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline, 5551 Giant Highway, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The 14th annual festival promotes healthy parks and people via a wide range of activities for the family, including nature walks, bird watching with the Golden Gate Audubon Society, and a special demonstration of current and future impacts of rising sea levels.
There will also be free food and live entertainment and music, exhibits, pony rides, a choo choo train ride, face painting, free books and more.
The event is hosted by the North Richmond Shoreline Open Space Alliance and co-sponsored by the East Bay Regional Park District, cities of Richmond and San Pablo, and the California Coastal Conservancy.
