The Little Caesers Love Kitchen is set to return to Richmond for a third time in order to cook up and serve pizzas to needy families.
The big-rig equipped with a pizza kitchen is set to park at the Bay Area Rescue Mission at 200 Macdonald Ave. at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30. In past events, hundreds of people from the community, and not just Rescue Mission clients, were served pizzas.
Since 1985, the Little Caesers “Love Kitchen” program launched in order to serve meals to people in need across the nation and Canada. Areas suffering poverty or communities ravaged natural disasters receive visits by a couple of big rigs that travel year-round.
