Two summer concert dates remain in the Point Richmond Music’s (PRM) free concert series.
The video above shows images from the most recent concert on Friday, Aug. 11.
On Friday, Sept. 8, Evie Ladin Band (Neo-Trad Kinetic Folk) and the Lucky Losers (Americana) are set to perform in the outdoor venue in Point Richmond’s historic downtown.
And then Friday, Sept, 22, Sang Matiz (Afro Latin Funk) and the Pangea Futbol Club (International Grooves) will grace the stage.
The free concerts run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the corner of Park Place and Washington Avenue. The family-friendly events turn downtown Point Richmond into a festival with dancing in the street, arts and crafts booths, face-painting for children and an opportunity drawing.
Along with food trucks and local restaurants, attendees can purchase from PRM’s no-host bar featuring Richmond-made craft beer. Proceeds from the no-host bar directly support the music series.
PRM is an all-volunteer non-profit organization with a mission to build community through the unifying language of music.
