Richmond’s growing version of Off the Grid, called the Food Emporium, is about to become off the hook.

On Sunday, Aug. 27, the Food Emporium’s caravan of food trucks featuring all-local fare is set to park and serve at a most ideal location: the East Brother Beer Company taproom at 1001 Canal Blvd.

And if that combination isn’t tantalizing enough, the event from noon to 8 p.m. will feature live music from three bands and a “whole bunch of classic cars from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s,” East Brother Beer co-founder Rob Lightner said.

“We’re calling it our ‘Summer Classic,” Lightner said, adding that the event is not only a partnership with the Food Emporium, but also the Pt. Richmond Neighborhood Council.

Mark your calendars for this one. See the flyer below for more information.
