Point Richmond Music (PRM) organizers say the latest in its free summer concert last Friday may have been the best attended for the annual series.
If you missed it, don’t worry. Three concert dates remain on the PRM summer series lineup.
The next concert is set to occur Friday, Aug. 11 with performances by Delta Wires (blues) and Bicicletas por la Paz (Latin funk circus). The show runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the corner of Park Place and Washington Avenue, which transforms into a family-friendly street festival with live music, arts and crafts booths, face-painting for children and dancing in the streets.
Along with food options including local restaurants and food trucks, Humboldt Creamery plans to hand out free tastes of its organic chocolate, vanilla and strawberry flavors.
Concert-goers can pair fine food with beverages served from PRM’s no host bar, featuring Richmond-made craft beer, with proceeds directly supporting the music series.
