The first of two free Music on the Main concerts is set to take place in downtown Richmond on July 26.
Live music, food, beverages, vendors, a kids zone, resource booth and even a Freshest Cargo fruits and veggie market will be part of the concert, which runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Marina Way and Macdonald Avenue.
Dance the early evening away to Niecey Living Single & the Obamah$, as well as Steven Green & the Lifeline.
And then on Aug. 23, head over again for a second Music on the Main concert featuring live performances by Andre Thierry and the Caribbean AllStars.
Music on the Main is held by the Richmond Main Street Initiative, the nonprofit tasked with revitalizing the city’s downtown corridor. Community sponsored include the city, Kaiser Permanente, Mechanics Bank, Sims Metal Management, Rolling Hills Memorial Park, Republic Services and East Brother Beer Cop.
