Richmond Civic Center Plaza to hold very first outdoor movie night

Richmond mayor to deliver State of City address on Feb. 27

The City of Richmond is introducing a new Movies in the Plaza series, where movies will be shown outdoors in Civic Center Plaza. The first one will kick-off on Friday, Aug. 18.

Community members are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and snuggle up to a screening of the Disney movie Moana. The movie starts at sunset, roughly around 8 p.m.

This is the first date of the City’s new Movies in the Plaza series.
