A grand opening celebration will be held for a new coffee shop at 4261 Hilltop Drive in El Sobrante on Sunday, July 2.
The event for FasTrack Coffee Co. — which opened for business at the end of May this year — will run July 2 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those who print or display this Eventbrite from this Facebook page will get 50-percent off their entire order all day on July 2, according to the San Pablo Economic Development Corporation (SPEDC), which is hosting the event.
Founded by Kent and Troy Emry, the coffee shop specializes in quality Equator coffee produced locally (cold brew, Fast Fraps, Espresso Pro and more), and also serves Italian soda, fruit smoothies and kid-friendly milk steamers infused with strawberry syrup.
For food, there’s local pastries, made-to-order breakfast burritos, sandwiches, paninis, and more.
The shop features a drive-thru technology including mobile app for busy commuters to cater to on-the-go commuters. The shop also offers WiFi and a cozy hangout area for friends and families.
Special activities for kids will also be available.
Troy Emry is a business owner looking to give back to the community, according to the SPEDC. Prior to launching into business, he was an exercise and sports science major, college football coach and teacher. He hopes to open more FasTrack Coffee shops in the Bay Area.
