Netflix series ’13 Reasons Why’ to hold Vallejo open casting call

Hugely popular Netflix series “13 Reasons Why” is holding an open casting call for its second season on Sunday, June 4 in Vallejo.

West County residents are invited to take part in the open casting call taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at USA World Classics Museum, 1525 Sonoma St. in Vallejo.

Actors, extras and stand-ins for SAG and non-union paid positions are being sought for the series, which is filming in and around Vallejo, Sebastopol and San Rafael, according to Glorioso Casting.

People from all ages, types and ethnicities are encouraged to attend, including students, baseball players, track & field athletes, cheerleaders, boxers, parents, teachers and coffee shop patrons. If you have already registered on mycastingfile.com, you do not need to attend the open call. Also, talent under age 18 should seek a California Entertainment Work permit here.

Those attending the casting call may bring a non-returnable photo/headshot and resume, and two photos will be taken of you at the call. Dress casually and come as you usually look. Males portraying high school students should be clean shaven, officials said.

Bring water and snacks in case of a long wait. Also, you can pre-fill out the talent registration form and bring it with you. That form can be found here.
