In honor of National Volunteer Week, a Young Adult Leadership Bootcamp will be held in Richmond this Saturday for residents between ages 16-24.

The free ServiceWorks Richmond event aims to connect young people to service opportunities that can become a pathway to college and career opportunities, and which will inspire them to become change agents in their communities.

Running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 440 Richmond Civic Center Plaza, the event includes breakfast and lunch, swag bags and a chance to win door prizes.

ServiceWorks is a national youth development program that is collaborating with Richmond to offer coaching for young adults to develop group service projects that transform communities.
