Family seeks dog stolen during car theft

Owners of a 13-year-old Scottish Terrier named Koda are asking for the public’s help in searching for their beloved dog, who was in their car that was stolen from a mall parking lot on Saturday, April 22.

The car was stolen from a mall in San Leandro, but Koda was reportedly spotted the very next day near the Nevin Community Center in Richmond. Later in the day, he was believed to have been spotted in the El Cerrito area.

“We drove out as fast as we could, but didn’t find him,” the family said. “Koda is on medication for Cushing Disease. We need him home.”
