Richmond Spring Egg Hunt a blast despite weather

By Mike Kinney

About 300 children and their families took part in the Spring Easter Egg Hunt event held Saturday at the Richmond Recreation building’s gymnasium near Nevin Park.

While the egg hunt was originally meant to be held in Nichol Park, the rain caused the event to go indoors, but it was still successful and fun.

Not only did kids enjoy a lot of Easter eggs, they also got to meet Hershey the Easter Bunny, who made a guest appearance.

In addition to the activities, resource information tables were available to allow attendees to learn more about Recreation opportunities in the city.
