Richmond commission unanimously approves Armistice Brewing's permit

Armistice Brewing received unanimous approval from the Richmond Planning Commission last week to open a brewery and taproom at 845 Marina Bay Parkway.

Excited siblings Alex and Gregory Zobel, owners of Armistice Brewing, jumped for joy outside of Richmond Civic Center following their approval Thursday for a conditional use permit to operate in a 5,000 square-foot-facility.

They told us Monday they’re working toward opening early this summer.

  1. I wish them much success. That people are willing to give these businesses a go here in Richmond is a very good sign indeed. This town once was bustling with all kinds of business. Anyone who thinks returning to that is bad or harmful is just plain nuts. It was when all the business left town that caused the harm. Let’s wholeheartedly welcome and encourage the return of business to Richmond once again..
