A longtime local family is set to open a new restaurant on 23rd Street called Ocotes Grill.
The eatery at 1439 23rd St. near Pine Avenue will serve traditional family-style Mexican-American cuisine. It is slated to have a soft-opening April 20.
It is owned and operated by siblings Raul and Griselda Ledesma, members of a family that has lived in Richmond since the 1980s. Griselda also has a real estate office on San Pablo Avenue and owns the building that will house Ocotes Grill. The building just received a significant renovation, and currently Raul is working hard to complete construction before the soft-opening.
Raul will be the manager on-site and the face behind the business, which has a Facebook page here.
The restaurant is currently hiring six part-time servers and two part-time cooks. Interested applicants can stop by 1439 23rd St., or email email@example.com.
