Former Kennedy High stars Kenneth Walker III and Takkarist McKinley made their hometown proud while wearing UCLA football jerseys on Saturday.

Walker, who had 114 yards on 4 catches, scored his second 62-year-old touchdown reception this season the help the Bruins defeat Arizona 45-24 at the Rose Bowl.

Meanwhile, McKinley, a defensive lineman, had five tackles and was responsible for one of his team’s two sacks in the game. He has had three sacks and 15 solo tackles after UCLA’s five games.

Walker’s first 62-yarder this year happened in an overtime loss to Texas A&M, where he caught a career-high six catches for 115 yards and a touchdown. Here you can watch him discuss his latest 100-yard game with reporters.

UCLA — 3-2 this season, 1-1 in conference and hovering just outside of the Associated Press Top 25 ranking — also features El Cerrito High grad Adarius Pickett, who has two interceptions in five games as a Bruins defensive back.
