More than 500 parents are expected to attend the 11th Annual Parents as Partners and Leaders Conference in Richmond.

The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at DeJean Middle School, 3400 Macdonald Ave.

The conference provides parents with information about their children’s education through interactive, engaging workshops, according to the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD).

“This conference will provide training and resources to help you become a partner in your child’s education,” organizers said. “Over 20 workshops and a Community Resource Fair will be provided.”
