The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting in El Sobrante Monday afternoon, sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee said.

Deputies were called about 12:53 p.m. to the 600 block of El Centro Road and a helicopter was dispatched, the East Bay Times reports.

Two men ages 37 and 19 were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to hospital, one by helicopter.

A suspect was located in a nearby in a residence and interviewed, but further details were not immediately available.
