The Golden State Warriors’ James McAdoo is set to visit a Richmond park this Saturday to take part in the voter registration event, Richmond Votes!

The event, sponsored by the nonprofit For Richmond and hosted by the Richmond Police Officers Association and Richmond Firefighters Local 188, will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nichol Park, on Macdonald Avenue between 31st and 32nd streets. McAdoo will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.

The aim of the Richmond Votes! event is to register as many voters as possible. For the event, AC Transit is providing a bus where attendees can sit down and register. Free lunch will be available for attendees and there will also be guest speakers, a raffle, prizes and other activities.
