The bicyclist who was killed in a collision with a vehicle in San Pablo Tuesday morning has been identified as 50-year-old Lavonda Harris of Richmond, police said.

San Pablo police responded about 5:41 a.m. to the area of Giant Road at Parr Boulevard, where Harris was hit. Despite efforts by medical units, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck remained at the scene, cooperated with authorities and did not appear to be impaired at the time of the collision, police said.

  1. Pray for the lady i always see her riding her bike when i drop my kids of to school.just to see her laying in the street brought me and my kids to tears people drive so fast on these streets and dont be watch were there driving.r.i.p
