The breathtaking Point Pinole Regional Shoreline Park will be the site of a ton of fun Saturday, when the 13th Annual North Richmond Shoreline Festival descends on the scenic area for a 13th consecutive year.
The free festival at 5551 Giant Highway, which includes free parking and free lunches while supplies last, is a celebration of the North Richmond shoreline that includes a number of family-friendly activities, including nature walks, bird watching with the Audubon Society, fishing and pony rides.
Live music, Zumba!, free books and resources from multiple community health and environmental organizations are also included at the festival, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The festival is hosted by the North Richmond Shoreline Open Space Alliance (NRSOSA) and co-sponsored by East Bay Regional Parks District, city of Richmond, city of San Pablo and Groundwork Richmond.
