A Richmond man was fatally struck by an Amtrak train Saturday morning, authorities said.

Rudolph Hernandez, 42, was hit by a Coast Starlight train carrying 266 passengers about 8 a.m. near Parr Boulevard and Giant Highway, officials said.

None of the passengers were injured.

No further details were immediately available.
