Point Richmond Music (PRM) has two free shows left in its summer concert series — both in September.

The shows will take place Friday, Sept. 9, and Friday, Sept. 23, in the outdoor venue at the corner of Park Place and Washington Ave. in Point Richmond. In addition to music, the concerts feature arts and craft booths, activities, face-painting for kids, drawings, great local food options and dancing in the streets.

For the Sept. 9 show, Americana-style group Aireene & the Itch take the stage from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30p p.m., followed by Michael Van & The Movers (alternative country) from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

For the Sept. 23 show, rock band Matt Jaffe & The Distractions perform from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, followed by and Extra Large (eclectic upbeat fun) from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

To support the Point Richmond Music concert series, show up and also patron its no-host bar, with proceeds directly supporting the free music series. For more information, go here:
