Applications for new students and also registrations for returning students are still being accepted at Contra Costa College, according to school officials.

Fall classes start on Friday, Aug. 12.

“More than 500 courses have seats open, including those that are transferable to four-year universities, and are applicable degree and certificate programs such as culinary arts, automotive services, and early childhood education,” officials said.

Course fees for residents are $46 per unit and financial aid is available.
