Loved ones seek public’s help in finding Chanel Pese, missing since July 28

A local family is asking for the public’s help in locating 24-year-old Chanel Pese, who was last heard from on July 28.

Pese, who attended De Anza High and Pinole High, was living in San Francisco at the time she went missing. Her birthday just passed on Aug. 3 and still no one has heard from her, Stephany Guzman said. The above photo of Pese is from 2014. She currently has longer hair.

“She last spoke to her mother [on July 28],” Guzman said. “Her mother said she seemed happy and fine.”

Loved ones can’t think of any friends or others Pese may have been with at the time of her disappearance. They have been posting fliers around the Bay Area, including areas where Pese would frequent, such as San Francisco’s Dolores Park, Hunters Point and the San Francisco Public Library.

“We’ve been trying to make #FindChanelPese go viral,” Guzman said.

If you know of her whereabouts or have seen her since she went missing July 28, please contact Richmond police at (510) 621-1598, San Francisco police at (415) 837-7395 or email
