A water main break in the 5400 block of Riverside Avenue at Yuba Avenue in San Pablo Tuesday night caused a street closure, according to San Pablo police.

Police were notified of the broken water main flooding the street at 11:46 p.m.

As a result of the leak, Riverside Avenue was shut down to normal traffic from Amador Street to Marin Avenue while construction crews worked to fix it. Drivers were asked to use alternate routes during repairs.
