Thirteen Reasons Why, the Netlix series starring Selena Gomez that has been filming in and around Vallejo, is reaching out to young people in West County who want to appear as extras in a scene that features a Halloween costume contest.

The scene is set to be filmed Monday, Aug. 1, in Vallejo. Once an extra is booked for the scene, he or she will be sent a specific address for where the filmmaking will take place.

Extras, who must be between ages 15 and 25, will not be paid but will be eligible for raffles and prizes, including between $250 and $500 awards for best Halloween costume. Another prize is the opportunity to be a featured extra in an episode of the series.
