Fans of the popular taco truck parked alongside a tire services company on 23rd Street will be happy to learn the eatery’s permit has been renewed.

Last week, the Richmond Planning Commission unanimously approved renewing the conditional use permit for Tacos Los Primos at 546 23rd., which is between Barrett and Roosevelt avenues and across the street from the NIAD Art Center. The permit is valid for two years.

The taco stop has received largely positive reviews on Yelp!, where patrons raved about the food and the $1 Taco Tuesdays.

The East Bay Express has called Tacos Los Primos’ al pastor “as good as they get: Spit-roasted gyros style, the meaty pork blackens around the edges where its spicy marinade caramelizes.”

“There’s a reason the lot where Los Primos parks is rarely empty,” the weekly newspaper noted.
