Freshest Cargo Mobile Farmers’ Market, the non-profit “Farmers’ Market on Wheels,” has added a third stop in Richmond at the Richmond Civic Center.

The new stop was added July 6 and will continue every Wednesday, with visits from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Freshest Cargo’s goal is to make low-cost, high-quality California-grown fresh fruits and vegetables available in underserved communities across the Bay Area. Freshest Cargo’s new Wednesday stop will be hosted at the Civic Center by the Literacy for Every Adult Program (LEAP). Everyone is welcome.

The stop at 325 Civic Center Plaza joins two other Wednesday stops in Richmond for Freshest Cargo: a 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. visit to Rubicon Programs at 101 Broadway, and a 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. stop at 1443 Filbert St.
