McDonald’s franchisees at all 240 Bay Area locations will soon begin serving Gilroy Garlic Fries.

The Gilroy Garlic Fries are “made-to-order” and tossed in stainless steel bowls with a purée mix of garlic from Gilroy along with olive oil, parmesan cheese, parsley and a pinch of salt, according to McDonald’s.

Earlier this year, the fries had sold out quickly during a test at four McDonald’s restaurants in the South Bay, the fast food chain said.

A gradual roll-out will have Gilroy Garlic Fries available at most Bay Area restaurants July 27.

  1. Whem will the San Pablo location have them?
