The Richmond Community Foundation, on behalf of the partners of the West Contra Costa Literacy Coalition, is seeking an Early Childhood Literacy Consultant to help with strategizing, partner development and literacy initiatives.

To get the process started, the foundation is issuing a request for qualifications (RFQ) that must be submitted by Friday, July 15 at 5 p.m. The West Contra Costa Literacy Foundation takes the approach that academic learning is a year-round endeavor and that communities must mobilize to help spur student success; the ideal candidate will help them fulfill this mission and meet their goals in removing learning barriers and expanding academic opportunities.

Interested applicants can reach out to the foundation’s Shabnaz Yousefia (syousefia@richmondcf.org), director of community engagement, or visit their website to find out more.
