Marina Bay Grill, the restaurant venture by the owners of Richmond’s Cafe Pascal, has permanently closed.

The announcement was made on the Facebook page for the eatery, which was located in the shopping center at 2167 Meeker Ave. The restaurant had opened in summer 2014.

The post read: “Hello everyone – we are sorry to let you know that our doors have closed. It has been a great ride, but we are on to other adventures. Please stop by and visit us at Cafe Pascal a few doors down.”

We confirmed the closure with an employee at Cafe Pascal, a popular French-style coffee shop that operates in the same shopping center. Owners weren’t immediately available to discuss the closure further.

The good news, however, is that we were assured Cafe Pascal will remain open.
