Richmond police detectives ate seeking the public’s help in locating one of two suspects wanted in the March 10 fatal shooting of 15-year-old Malik Barnes.

While a 17-year-old suspect has already been arrested in connection with the murder, 21-year-old Richmond resident Parrish Renee Rauls (pictured), remains on the run, police said.

Anyone with information on Rauls’ whereabouts should not confront him and immediately call RPD Detective J. Wentz at (510) 621-1259, or dial 911.

Barnes was fatally shot about 6 p.m. on March 10 in the 100 block of West Macdonald Avenue, the location of the St. John’s apartment complex.

The 17-year-old suspect, who wasn’t named because he is a minor, was arrested within a few weeks of the homicide.

The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office has since filed murder charges on both suspect with gang enhancements.
