Two Richmond police officer were among the Bay Area cops recognized at Levi’s Stadium Tuesday for netting at least 25 DUI arrests in 2015, with one of RPD officers logging more than 100.

Mothers Against Drunk Drivers held honored law enforcement members at the ceremony who made the public safer last year by taking drunk drivers off of the roads.

Officer Jonathan Platzner (pictured in uniform with plaque) logged a whopping 103 arrests in 2015, according to RPD.

Patrol Officer Khoa Nguyen (pictured in suit with plaque) was recognized for making 26 DUI arrests while assigned to a busy beat and at times, as crime scene investigator.

“The 129 DUI arrests made by the two officers had a direct impact on keeping our streets safer in 2015,” Richmond police Lt. Felix Tan said. “Congratulations to both officers and thank you for you diligent work.”
