As Leondrea Thomas — otherwise known as the hip hop artist Le’Le — grows up, her talent and musical style appears to be evolving at an even faster pace.

Take, for example, one of her most recent contributions to Defacto Music Group’s “My Mind” featuring Kai. We can’t stop playing this video, directed and edited by Raven Richardson aka 2Gz. Tthe upbeat track shows star potential, in our humble view.

We’ve written a number of stories about the teenager’s music and Richmond influence.

“Le’Le’s music is vicariously influenced by the culture of the city of Richmond,” said Ylan Wills, Le’Le’s stylist. “Her family was raised in Richmond, and many of Le’Le’s influences have developed from that familial connection.”

A new album upcoming will feature a follow-up song by Le’Le called “Good Thing.”

We’ll make certain to introduce it to our readers once it’s out, although there’s a very good chance you’ll beat us to it, given her music is spreading fast.

Check out a profile we wrote about Le’Le in August 2014, when she was 15 years old.
