From now through Thursday at 2 p.m., Contra Costa College Library in San Pablo will hold its annual used book sale.

The Annual Friends of the Contra Costa College Library Used Book Sale will take place today from noon to 6 p.m., on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The library is located at 2600 Mission Bell Drive in San Pablo.

Prices for paperbacks and hardcovers will range from 35 cents to a few dollars, organizers said.

Proceeds from the sale will be used for improvements to the library’s collections, services and programs.

Friends of the Library memberships will also be available during the sale, which start as low as $12 per year for students and staff and $25 per year for community members. Membership benefits include check-out privileges and access to library research tools.
