De Anza High student Amy Barron, member of the Air Force JROTC program, is encouraging the community to visit an all-day vigil in Richmond on Memorial Day to honor fallen veterans of the armed forces and fallen emergency responders.

The Air Force JROTC program is holding the event from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 30, at The Rolling Hills Memorial Park at 4100 Hilltop Dr. in Richmond. Members of the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Richmond Police Explorers are also part of this significant display of respect.
