Authorities have arrested a second suspect in connection with the murder of an East Richmond Heights woman whose body was found buried in a shallow grave.
Andre Villedrouin (pictured), a Richmond resident, was taken into custody as he was leaving a home in Antioch Wednesday, where he had reportedly barricaded himself.
Villedrouin, along with Dylan Reese, 37, are both in custody for the murder of Kimberly Hoglund, 47.
Hoglund was last seen on March 28 and was reported missing by her family on April 12, according to the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff.
On Wednesday, April 13, sheriff’s deputies began investigating after foul play was suspected. Detectives served a search warrant on an East Richmond Heights home where they discovered a possible crime scene, but not Hoglund.
Hoglund was eventually found after detectives and crime lab personnel searched a home on Appian Way, where they discovered her body in a shallow grave, deputies said.
