San Pablo’s public works department is holding a Dumpster Day on Saturday, April 16, when residents have a chance to get rid of old items that have been sitting around.

Dumpster Day takes place from 7 a.m. to noon — or whenever the dumpsters are full — at El Portal School, 2600 Moraga Rd.

“We will accept everything with the exception of tires and all hazardous materials,” the city said.

Residents must bring proof of San Pablo residency, which includes a copy of your PG&E or EBMUD statement with your address and a photo ID. Call (510) 215-3079 for more information.
