Kennedy High teacher Jeff Pollock is one of five finalists for the Bayborhood High School Teacher of the Year Award.

The five Bay Area teachers were nominated by their students for the award, which is sponsored by R&B radio station KBLX. The Teacher of the Year Award will go to the teacher who receives the most online votes. The public is encouraged to vote for Pollock here.

Pollock is a very popular A.P. American Government & Politics and U.S. History teacher, said Sal Morabito, also a teacher at Kennedy High.

“The recognition is long overdue,” Morabito said. “He deserves to be recognized… and win. We all love him. Please vote for him.”
