The 2016 Rosie’s Girls Summer Camp, an exciting day camp in Richmond where girls have fun while receiving hands-on instruction in skilled trades, including technology, is currently seeking applications.

The flyer below details how to apply to Rosie’s Girls. Applications must be turned in as soon as possible to EM Downer YMCA.

At Rosie’s Girls Summer Camp, participants enjoy fun adventures while also receiving instruction in trades such as welding and carpentry, as well as science, technology, engineering, art and math. Chevron Richmond is one of the camp’s sponsors.

“Girls find their own strength, power, and confidence in a fun and supportive atmosphere,” Sternberg said.
