A Richmond man was one of three people arrested Friday night following a traffic stop in Marin, where police found stolen items from Nordstrom’s in their vehicle, police said.

Keonte Woods, 21, of Vallejo, Daemonjae Wise, 21, of Vallejo and Isaiah McClain, 23, of Richmond were arrested about 8:40 p.m.

The men were riding in a red Hyundai Elantra in a shopping center parking lot in Larkspur Landing when officers noticed a generic paper dealer license plate covering a registered license plate, police said. The driver, Woods, was found to be on probation, prompting a search of the vehicle.

During the search, officers found a “Nordstrom’s bag with receipts and broken glass in it.” They soon learned that a victim at Nordstrom’s in Corte Madera had just reported a window-smash auto burglary and stolen bag.

The three men were arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of stolen property.

Anyone with additional information about this incident is asked to contact the Central Marin Police Authority at (415) 927-5150.
