In December, we told told you about the El Cerrito police search for Alicia “Lisa” Osibin, who is wanted in connection with the murder of her 90-year-old mother, Mary Osibin.

Mary Osibin had been reported missing to police on Nov. 27, prompting investigators to search her home in the 1000 block of Leneve Place in El Cerrito. During the search, investigators found Mary Osibin’s remains stuffed in a garbage barrel in the garage, and it was determined following an autopsy that she had been shot to death, police said.

Detectives believe the crime had occurred several months before. After an investigation, police obtained a warrant for the arrest of her daughter, Alicia Osibin, on murder charges.

Investigators now believe Alicia Osibin may be in the Los Angeles area. Police say she “may have changed her name and/or altered her appearance to a more masculine look.”

She is 5-8 tall, heavyset, has worn glasses in the past and may be using the name A. Callico or Alex Callico.

She is considered armed and dangerous and anyone who sees her or knows where she is should contact authorities right away, police said.
